Replacing the Battery on a Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 7 - Years 2006-2014

Remove the cover under the driver's seat and slide the seat forward to the end of its travel to create the necessary working space. Unscrew the bolt for the negative terminal (always disconnect the negative first), as shown in the video, and only then unscrew the positive terminal. For the Ford Transit with two batteries, disconnect both negative terminals first and then both positive terminals. Disconnect the side tube and unscrew the nuts and bolts that secure the battery in place. Disconnect the wiring from the terminal and remove the mounting bracket. Lift the battery using the designated handle and proceed in reverse for reassembly.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
