Replacing the Battery on a Ford Transit

Remove the cover under the driver's seat and slide the seat forward to the end of its travel to create the necessary working space. Unscrew the bolt for the negative terminal (always disconnect the negative first), as shown in the video, and only then unscrew the positive terminal.

For the Ford Transit with two batteries, disconnect both negative terminals first and then both positive terminals. Disconnect the side tube and unscrew the nuts and bolts that secure the battery in place.

Disconnect the wiring from the terminal and remove the mounting bracket. Lift the battery using the designated handle and proceed in reverse for reassembly.
