Replacing the Engine Oil Filter on a Ford Focus Mk2

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

Open the bonnet and prop it up with the support rod. Remove the plastic cover as shown in the video. Raise the car as you need to work underneath to remove the oil filter. Unscrew the reservoir cap and then the drain plug to allow the used oil to drain out. The oil filter can now be simply unscrewed: if the O-ring is still good, remove it and use it on the new filter; otherwise, replace it as well (in this case, remember to lubricate it before fitting it). Clean the oil filter housing and top up with new oil. Reassemble everything.
