How to Replace the Standard Radio

This video explains how to replace the standard radio in a Ford Mondeo with a new one. To remove the old unit, use two specific keys to extract the radio. Insert one key on each side into the vertically positioned equidistant holes, then push each key outward while pulling out the entire radio unit. Disconnect the antenna cable, power supply, and speaker. Fit the panel that fills the gap created by the size difference between the old and new radios. Insert the cage into the slot and pass the wiring through it; secure the cage by lifting the tabs that hold it to the walls of the slot with the tip of a screwdriver. Gather the wiring into a single bundle and fit the connectors for the antenna, speakers, and power supply. Once the correct connections with the radio unit are confirmed, insert the wiring into the slot followed in order by the radio unit, the frame, and finally, the front panel. Proceed to test the operation.
