Reset the Engine Oil Change Light on the Ford Ecosport (2016)

Today, you will learn how to reset the engine oil change light on the Ecosport. Remember that changing the engine oil annually or based on the mileage ensures better operation over time, reduces engine wear, and decreases the release of pollutants into the atmosphere. That said, let's proceed. Ensure that the doors are closed. Turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. Press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously and hold them down until the reset message appears on the screen. Now release the pedals and turn off the ignition. Wait about 2 minutes and turn the ignition back on to check if the service message reappears. If the procedure was successful, you can turn off the ignition.
