How to deactivate the passenger airbag on the Ford Ecosport

If you need to install a child seat or baby carrier in the front passenger seat, it is essential to deactivate the airbag. To do this, follow the instructions provided here and refer to the video. You can deactivate the airbag using the ignition key. Open the passenger door, and on the side of the dashboard, you will find the lock to unlock with the key to deactivate it. Insert the key and turn it to the off position. Then, check the central dashboard for the "Passenger Airbag Off" warning light.
