Headlights can yellow and become cloudy due to sun exposure, weather conditions, and car wash products, but you can restore their shine with a rejuvenation process that can start from simple polishing to more modern treatments like liquid polymer. These solutions are very effective on polycarbonate headlights, while the results on glass headlights may not be exceptional but will still improve their appearance and efficiency. Begin by masking the body around the headlight housing. Sand the surface of the headlight with progressively finer grits until it is uniformly cloudy. Then, polish with the cream and the appropriate pad, repeating the steps if necessary to achieve a shiny surface. During the headlight rejuvenation, you can also replace the bulbs.
