How to Replace the Outside Rearview Mirror on the Ford F250 Super Duty phn131

This guide shows how to replace the outside rearview mirror on the Ford F250 Super Duty phn131. First, disconnect the negative battery terminal before proceeding with the replacement. From the door panel on the side you are working on, remove the plastic cover protecting the door's service light and lift the switch panel using a screwdriver or a trim tool, then disconnect the electrical connectors. Remove the triangular plastic panel covering the mirror bolts. Using a 7mm wrench, remove the two bolts located in the service light area and under the switch panel. Lift the inner door panel and disconnect the service light power cable. After lifting the soundproofing panel, disconnect the mirror cable and remove the four 11mm bolts securing the mirror; hold the outer body to avoid damaging the paint. Install the replacement part and reassemble all removed parts in reverse order. Check that the mirror functions correctly.
