Once the auxiliary belt and timing belt have been removed, remove the crankshaft pulley, extract the old oil seal, carefully clean its seat and insert the new one, lubricating it abundantly. Once the new oil seal has been inserted, align the timing references and proceed with the installation of the new toothed belt as well as the crankshaft pulley (align the keyway and tighten the fixing pin with the torque wrench). Failure of the crankshaft oil seal is not such a recurring defect but it can still cause harmful oil leaks.
