Exhaust Manifold Gasket Replacement

Model: Ford Escort MK 4 - Years 1990-2000

Before inserting the new gasket, it is very important to clean its seating, both on the cylinder head side and the manifold side, to remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the adhesion and sealing of the gasket itself. Once the cleaning is complete, apply the new gasket, aligning it correctly with the dowel pins; then insert the manifold and tighten the securing nuts using a properly calibrated torque wrench. The gasket is made of metallic material due to the high temperature of the exhaust gases.
