How to Reset the Engine Fault Light on a Ford Focus

In this video, you will see how to reset the engine fault light on a Ford Focus. The model in question does not have controls on the steering wheel, so position yourself in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition only. Observe the display on the speedometer showing 'Engine Malfunction'; now press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously for about 20 seconds. Now release the pedals and turn off the ignition. Upon the next restart of the vehicle, the light indicating engine malfunction should be completely gone; if not, repeat the procedure.
