Replacing the Timing Belt on the Ford Fiesta 1.2 Petrol

To replace the timing belt on the vehicle, follow these steps: open the bonnet and begin by removing the coolant reservoir. Then, remove the auxiliary drive belt, followed by the alternator and its belt. Next, remove the front right wheel and the brake. Remove the engine mount and the timing belt cover. Mark the relative position of the teeth on the pulleys in relation to the engine. Remove the lower pulley and then extract the belt, and if necessary, replace the water pump. At this point, position the new belt and reassemble all components in reverse order.
