How to Reset the Oil Service Light on a Ford Mondeo MK3

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Ford Mondeo MK3. First, insert the keys into the ignition but DO NOT turn them. They must remain in the OFF position. Press and hold the brake and accelerator pedals, and only while doing this can you turn the ignition to the ON position. Continue to hold the brake and accelerator pedals for another twenty seconds, during which time you will see the information on the display change. When you see this, press "OK" and the service light has now been reset. If you want to check, turn off the ignition and turn it back on for added safety.
