To reset the oil service light on a Ford Mondeo, insert the key into the ignition and press the brake and accelerator pedals after turning the key to the ON position (the one that lights up the dashboard without starting the engine). Wait until the display indicates that the oil service light reset is complete, then press the OK button on the steering wheel, release the pedals, and turn off the ignition.

It is recommended to perform the oil service light reset procedure only after actually changing the oil.
