How to Change the Battery in a Ford Remote?

The battery in a Ford car remote can be easily replaced using just one tool, a small flathead screwdriver. Before starting, obtain a CR2032 button cell battery rated at 3V. As shown in the video, first remove the flap that hides the emergency mechanical key compartment and extract the key. Now, use the screwdriver to pry apart the two halves of the remote casing and finally access the battery compartment for the replacement. Once finished, reassemble everything in reverse order.
