In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Ford Transit Connect van, a very simple operation. First, ensure that the key is not in the ignition for safety.

Next, open the bonnet and remove both the entire air filter box and the front duct. Once done, undo the securing bolts of the control unit, disconnect the positive terminal, and remove the front metal bracket.

At this point, you can extract the old battery, disconnect the negative terminal, and follow the reverse procedure to install the replacement.
