How to Replace the Key Battery on the Ford C-Max

To replace the key battery on the Ford C-Max, insert a small flathead screwdriver into the slot near the house symbol to remove the key from the shell, insert the small flathead screwdriver between the shells to separate them; once the shells are separated, lift the battery using a flathead screwdriver by levering from below, take the new battery, remove it from the packaging and place it in the spot of the old one, reassemble the two shells until you hear a click and reinsert the key until you hear a click. Finally, test the correct operation of the new battery.
