How to Replace the Remote Battery on a Ford

To replace the battery in a generic Ford remote, follow the instructions in this description and check the tutorial video. Use a small screwdriver to lever open the back of the key. Lever again to remove the back cover, giving you access to the compartment containing the battery, which can be extracted and replaced with a new one. Ensure the new battery is positioned with the positive terminal facing upwards. Then, reattach the key cover and reconnect the two previously disassembled parts.
