In this tutorial, see how to replace the battery in a Ford C-MAX, a very simple operation. Before proceeding, ensure the key is not in the ignition for safety. Start by opening the boot, then remove the lower front panel and the duct beneath it by unscrewing the relevant screws. Once done and access to the battery is obtained, loosen the nuts on both terminals with a 10 mm spanner and disconnect them, starting with the negative. Finally, unscrew the long lower fixing bolt, extract the battery from its housing, and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
