How to Remove the EGR Valve from a Ford

Removing the EGR valve for periodic cleaning is a very simple task that you can perform independently. On Ford car models, this operation is more or less the same. Start by opening the bonnet and locating the valve, which is situated behind the engine. Proceed to disassemble it. Before removing the valve, you need to remove the wiper arms and the internal plastic cover. Once the obstructing pieces are removed, disconnect the valve connector, as shown in the video, and then remove the valve itself. After removal, proceed to clean it and finally reassemble everything.
