Additionally, this procedure is very simple and quick to carry out. To do it, start the instrument cluster without starting the engine, then immediately press the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal all the way down; at this point, the reset procedure will begin.

Now, just wait for the procedure to finish while keeping the pedals pressed, and once the procedure is complete, you can release the pedals and restart the instrument cluster.
