When the key for your Ford Escape Mk3 (2013-2019) stops functioning properly due to a dead battery, follow these steps to replace the battery with a new compatible one. First, remove the emergency key and then open the remote cover with a small flathead screwdriver.

Once done, locate the dead button battery and remove it, then replace it with a new one (model CR 2032). Finally, reassemble the cover and insert the emergency key back inside.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
