How to reset the battery management system on Ford vehicles

In this video, see how to reset the Battery Management System (BMS) on a Ford C-Max, but the system is applicable to all Ford vehicles. Each time you change the battery on these vehicles, it is necessary to reset this control module; otherwise, the new battery may not charge correctly. Therefore, turn on the instrument panel, connect the OBD reader to the socket located on the left side of the steering wheel, and open the app that you previously downloaded on your smartphone to scan the system. Click on "reset BMS"; select the make of your vehicle, then the model, then the engine, and finally select "BMS reset". It will ask what you are doing: do you want to proceed? Click on "yes". It will confirm that the reset has been completed. Click on "ok" and the procedure is complete.
