How to Reset the Oil Light on a 2013 Ford Escape

This video shows how to reset the oil change light on a 2013 Ford Escape if the light remains on after an oil change. To reset the light, get in the vehicle, turn the ignition to the 'On' position without starting the engine, press and hold the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal simultaneously for 20 to 30 seconds. A message will appear on the instrument panel indicating that the reset is in progress, followed by a message confirming the reset. When the reset confirmation message appears, release the pedals and turn the ignition off to ensure the reset was successful.
