Replacing Brake Disc and Pads

Model: Ford Galaxy MK 2 - Years 2006-2015
Part: Parking brake

Remove the wheel in question after placing the car on suitable supports. Now, remove the steel clip that holds the brake pads in place. Next, remove the plastic caps on the back of the brake to access the bolts that secure the two parts of the brake. Using a lever, separate the brake assembly where the pad and piston are located. To prevent fluid loss from the piston, hang this assembly up on the shock absorber. To remove the disc, unscrew the bolts behind it. Now you can remove the disc by tapping it with a hammer to loosen it. Clean off any rust with a wire brush. Now, using your new parts, follow the steps in reverse to reassemble everything.
