Resetting the Service Light on a Ford Ecosport

After changing the engine oil in the Ford Ecosport, you need to reset the system that alerts you to the need for service. Sit in the driver's seat and use the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to select 'configurations' on the central display, which has the car icon. Press the 'menu' button and scroll through the list until you select 'maintenance', confirming with 'ok'. On the next screen, confirm by pressing 'ok' until the message indicating the reset appears. Turn off and then turn on the ignition to verify that the light has turned off.
