By following these simple instructions, you will see how to open the bonnet of the Ford Ecosport to access the engine compartment. First, open the driver's side front door and pull the bonnet release lever located below, above the pedals; then move to the front of the vehicle and unclip the latch situated between the bonnet and the grille, as shown in the video.

At this point, lift the bonnet and secure the prop rod; you will then be able to access the engine compartment, finally lowering the bonnet to close it.
