The Service light on the Ford Transit can be reset by inserting the ignition key and turning it to power on the instrument cluster, without starting the vehicle. Once the instrument cluster is powered on, a message will appear indicating the need for maintenance: to clear this message from the instrument cluster, press and hold the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously.

After a moment, a message will appear on the display confirming the reset of the light. You can then turn off and on the instrument cluster to verify the reset.
