Today, you will learn how to remove the alternator from a Ford Focus mk2. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery. Next, lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel.

Then, remove the lower plastic cover by unscrewing the screws and also take off the lower bumper. After that, loosen the belt tensioner to remove the belt, making it easier to take off the hose.

Next, unscrew the alternator bolts and disconnect it from the electrical connector to remove it completely. Finally, begin the procedure for installing the new alternator by following the steps in reverse.
