In this video, you can see the positioning and diagram of the fuse boxes for the Ford Explorer MK2: the fuse box located in the cabin is found within the thickness of the dashboard and is accessible through a small groove in the plastic, where you can use a not too large screwdriver, possibly wrapped with adhesive tape, to avoid damaging the plastics.

From the diagram, there are differences in assignment, depending on whether the vehicle is from before or after the year 2000. The box located in the engine bay is positioned near the left outer edge of the bodywork.
