In this video we can see the positioning and diagram of the fuse boxes of the Ford Explorer MK2 version: the fuse box located in the cabin is inside the dashboard and is accessible through a small groove in the plastic, where you just need to use a not too big screwdriver, maybe lined with tape, to avoid damaging the plastics. From the diagram, we can see differences in assignment, depending on whether it is a car before or after the year 2000. The fuse box located in the engine compartment is located near the left outer edge of the body.
