To replace the MAF sensor on the Ford Transit, open the bonnet and locate the sensor on the pipe exiting the air filter housing on the driver's side. Using a flathead screwdriver, release the red lock on the electrical connector and remove it after checking its condition.

Using a Torx T20 key, unscrew the two screws securing the sensor in place, remove it, and replace it with a new one, ensuring it matches and is oriented correctly. Screw in the two Torx screws and reconnect the electrical connector.
