Let’s go through the main steps to perform the routine maintenance service by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the Genesis GV70. First, lift the vehicle and start draining the engine oil by removing the drain bolt found on the oil pan (using a socket wrench); let it drain into a container for about ten minutes.

At this point, use a socket wrench to remove the oil filter located next to the oil pan, replacing the cartridge with a new one; finally, pour in the new engine oil!
