How to Change Engine Oil in the GMC Terrain?

The first step to change the engine oil in the GMC Terrain is to lift the vehicle securely off the ground. Once done, disconnect from inside the cabin and then lift the hood to open the oil cap. This helps the old oil drain out more easily. Move under the vehicle to remove the 15mm bolt on the oil pan, and while the old oil drains, extract the oil cartridge using the appropriate wrench. Replace the gasket on the cap and then insert the new cartridge. Reinstall the oil pan bolt and finally pour new engine oil from the filler neck under the hood using a funnel.
