The first thing to do to change the engine oil in the GMC Terrain is to lift the car off the ground in a stable and safe manner. Once this is done, let's unhook from inside the passenger compartment and then lift the front hood to open the oil cap. This helps drain the used oil more easily. Let's move under the car to remove the 15mm pin on the oil pan and while the old oil flows away we extract the oil cartridge with the appropriate wrench. We replace the gasket on the cap and then insert the new cartridge. We close the pin of the oil pan and finally pour the new engine oil from the nozzle into the front hood with the help of a funnel.
