Resetting the service light on a Holden Captiva, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before doing this, ensure you have completed all required scheduled maintenance tasks. Start by inserting the key and turning on the instrument cluster, not the engine, then press the accelerator pedal all the way down three times in a row, turn off the cluster, and turn it back on to check if the procedure was successful. If not, repeat it, making sure to do everything within about 10 seconds of turning on the cluster.
