Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

Model: Honda Civic MK 9 - Years 2012-2015

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and position a container for collecting used oil under the oil sump: then undo the drain plug and wait for the sump to empty completely; re-tighten the plug after replacing the washer. Also, replace the oil filter cartridge located on the side (it can be accessed from the passenger side wheel arch; oil the gasket of the new filter before screwing it in). Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the user and maintenance manual.
