How to Replace a Tensioner with Pulley

Model: Honda CR-V MK 3 - Years 2007-2012

First, open the front bonnet of the car where the engine is located by pulling the lever next to the pedals on the left side. Then, lift the central lever under the bonnet with your fingers to raise it and secure it with the prop rod in the slot under the bonnet at the corner to your left. Disconnect the hydraulic oil reservoir on your right by pulling it upwards. Now, use a spanner to lever the pulley back so that the belt slips off. Unscrew the bolt in the centre of the pulley and also the bolt above the bracket under the power steering pump pulley. To remove it, you need to move the air conditioning pipe and the power steering pump. Once these two components are moved, you can proceed to unscrew the bolts of the tensioner, pull it out, and reassemble everything. This is how you have replaced the tensioner on your HONDA CR-V.
