To prevent dust from entering the air conditioning system, a filter is mounted on the intake; every 15,000 miles or after one year, you must replace it to ensure efficiency. To do this, sit in the front passenger seat, open the glove compartment in front of you, unclip it from the sides and rotate it downwards.

This will give you access to the filter box cover; open it by operating the locking tabs, remove the old filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring the correct orientation, then reattach the cover and place the glove compartment back on its guides.
