Replacement of the Fuel Pump

Model: Hyundai Santa Fe MK 2 - Years 2006-2012

If the engine is not receiving fuel, a problem may lie with the fuel pump. To access it, you need to remove the four plastic covers of the seat, starting from the bottom. Remove the two seat bases, taking care with the seatbelt clips, and move them away from the vehicle. Lift the soundproofing cover and use a ratchet to remove the four nuts from the fuel pump housing cover. Gently lift the cover, being careful with the power cables. To extract the pump, slide off the fuel hose, disconnect the connector, and unscrew the screws on the edge of the pump.
