Hyundai Santa Fe - Video tutorial

Model: Hyundai Santa Fe MK 1 - Years 2000-2006
Part: Headlight
Operation: Disassembly and replacement of headlights

If you need to replace one or both of the headlights because they are damaged or not very bright, because the transparent plastic has become opaque, proceed as follows. Raise the engine hood. Close to each headlight you will find three 10mm screws respectively, one at the bottom on the grille side and the two remaining above the headlight near the bonnet edge. Unscrew the screws and remove the optical unit by disconnecting first the main connector then the secondary one. Replace the old headlight with the new one by reconnecting the connectors. Insert the new headlight in its seat and tighten the three screws. Repeat, if necessary, the same operation for the headlight on the opposite side. Then check for any adjustments and aiming of the light beam after a night drive. Tools required: 10mm socket or "T" wrench.
