How to Open the Door of a Hyundai Santa Fe with a Non-Functioning Remote

Here's how to open the car door when the remote is not working. Take your remote and press the button to release the metal key. Once the key is extracted, remove the cover from the lock cylinder (above the handle). Pry at the handle until the piece covering the cylinder comes off. Insert the key into the lock and open the car door. Replace the cover and press on the handle until you hear it click into place (secure the cover properly to avoid issues).
