Hyundai ix35 - Video tutorial

Model: Hyundai ix35 MK 1 - Years 2009-2015
Part: Clutch
Operation: How to replace the clutch on the Hyundai IX35

Let's see how to replace the clutch of a Hyundai IX35. We must first disconnect the turbo and remove the fuel jack with its electrical connections. We remove the air filter and remove the engine cover, removing the 12mm screws that hold it in place. We remove the top grille of the car, in order to make as much space as possible. For this we will also remove the battery and its base. We remove the grounding, being careful not to lose the bolts. We have to try to go as low as possible, so we have to remove as many things as possible to go all the way to the clutch. If it remains difficult for us, we take note of what we remove, until we get to the clutch. We remove the central bushing. Of course there will be rusty and difficult to remove parts that we will have to lubricate and to remove which we will have to help ourselves with mechanical systems, such as hammers or pliers. Drain the liquid, which you will collect and dispose of properly. Pay the utmost attention to electrical connectors, if you are unsure tape them to be sure not to damage them. This is an extremely complex operation that requires specific skills. While the specific act of changing the clutch in and of itself may seem simple, getting there is extremely complex, and reassembling everything in the right sequence can be very, very difficult.

Replace the steering angle sensor on the Volkswagen Golf 5

When the steering angle sensor malfunction warning light comes on, it may need to be replaced as follows: first remove the steering wheel and the lower steering wheel guard by removing the three fixing screws. The steering sensor is located just below the steering column. To release it you need to have a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole on the front, push the screwdriver all the way down until the clips at the bottom are released. Next, pull down on the back of the card containing the sensor and disengage it from the steering column. At that point take the new card and reposition it, after which proceed backwards to reassemble the various components.
