The fuel tank breather valve may become stuck, causing the fault light to illuminate and storing the related error code (P2422). In case of blockage, it is advisable to disassemble and replace the valve, as it is a plastic device with a crucial safety function. The valve is located under the left rear wing. To disassemble it, follow these steps: lift the vehicle, remove the left rear wheel, and then the plastic wheel arch liner to access the breather valve. Disconnect the pipes and connectors, then unscrew the fastening bolts.
