Resetting the Service Light on the Hyundai i30

Once you have changed the engine oil on the Hyundai i30, proceed to reset the system that alerts you to the need for maintenance. Sit in the driver's seat and turn the ignition key to the second position.

Press the "trip" button located on the right spoke of the steering wheel until the maintenance interval icon, featuring a spanner, appears on the display in the centre of the instrument panel. Now press the "reset" button and wait for the data to update; once the reset is complete, release the button and turn off the ignition.
