Replacement of Front Brake Discs

This video shows you how to replace your front brake discs. It is advisable to change the brake disc every two brake pad replacements, as it becomes worn and damaged; this is easily noticeable by the formation of a step on the disc. To replace the disc, position the car on axle stands and remove the wheels; then, you will need to extract the brake calipers. To make the job easier, place a piece of wood between the brake pads to keep them open. Remove the old brake disc and install the new one, refit the brake caliper, and pump the brake pedal to ensure the pads grip the new disc.
