To reset the "Service" light on a Jaguar XJ, proceed as follows. Start the car and wait for all dashboard checks to complete, including the illumination of the "Service" light.

Then, using the buttons on the steering wheel, enter the settings and the maintenance submenu. At this point, follow the procedure indicated by the onboard computer.

During this process, the "Service" light should flash or turn off temporarily. After completing the indicated procedure, turn off the car and wait a few seconds, then restart it. Check if the "Service" light has turned off; if so, the reset is complete.
