Replacing the Car Fuel Filter

This guide shows how to replace your car's fuel filter. This operation will save you money as a clean fuel filter will lead to better fuel consumption and improved combustion. The fuel filter should be replaced every 6,000-12,000 miles, depending on how much the car is used. First, locate the filter in the engine bay and, using a screwdriver, loosen the clamps at the ends. Then, disconnect the two hoses that carry fuel from the tank to the filter and from the filter to the carburettor. You can then remove the filter and insert the new one.
