Replacing the Remote Battery on a Jeep Renegade

Is the remote key for the Jeep Renegade not working anymore? Let's try replacing the battery. Take your ignition key, pull out the metal key, and use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic halves until they separate, being careful not to break them. Extract the dead battery with a screwdriver and get a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the plastic halves of the remote until you hear them click into place. Check the proper functioning of the key remote by testing the door unlock buttons.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
