Steering Wheel Removal on the Grand Cherokee

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK, MK 3, WH - Years 2004-2010

Remove the covering plastics around the steering wheel (rear). Once removed, unscrew the securing screws and take out the airbag. Detach the airbag from above the steering wheel and disconnect the power connector: do not damage the connector. Unscrew the large central nut and remove the steering wheel from the column. Refit the steering wheel onto the steering column and tighten the nut, then connect the airbag power connector and press it onto the steering wheel with your hands. Secure the airbag above the steering wheel and refit the covering plastics.
