Service Reset on Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

To reset the oil maintenance light on a Jeep Renegade, turn on the instrument cluster using the button next to the steering wheel. Press the accelerator pedal three times in quick succession, then release the pedal and turn off the instrument cluster. Turn the instrument cluster back on and check the maintenance performed. Review the changes made on the vehicle's instrument panel and always remember to make adjustments to the onboard computer with the vehicle stationary and turned off (safely). Turn off the instrument cluster after use.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
