Replacing the Key Battery on Jeep Compass

Model: Jeep Compass 552, MK 2 - Years 2016-2025

Slide the small button on the remote to extract the manual spare key. Now, using a small flat-head screwdriver, lever in the centre slot of the remote. Voila! Here is the battery. At this point, it is easy to remove it from its seat, using the small screwdriver again. Insert the battery you purchased, easily available at hardware stores or large supermarkets. Reassemble the remote by reversing the steps and test the key to verify its proper functioning. Good luck!
