How do you replace the battery in a Jeep Compass remote? It's a fairly simple operation. Start by removing the metal key from the cover and use it to pry open the cover at the centre. Once open, you will immediately see the battery that needs replacing with a new one of the same size and voltage. Simply remove the flat battery and insert the new one, then close the cover and reinsert the metal key you took out at the beginning. After completing this last step, test the remote to ensure it works correctly.
